Re: Dial-by-name 0=Z and 9=Z
I can't say if its 100% intentional, however this is a good resource: http://www.dialabc.com/motion/keypads.html I did not really realize how many standards there was for key tons. What version are you on? Sometimes they will change those kinds of things later. Also, how do you know it takes 0 as Z?...

Re: Flowroute
You're welcome. If you want to keep it behind your firewall, you can, however I normally recommend to just give their WAN a public IP and not place it behind any firewall because NAT's/Firewalls tend to cause more issues than what it's worth. We have many issues when it's done that way at our compan...

Re: Flowroute
How is the PBX setup to get calls/network config? It is in LAN Host mode, or even if not, is its default gateway on the LAN side, pointing to your firewall? If the above is true, then the phones will try to directly talk to Flowroute and that may be the cause of the issue. We see that even when we d...

Re: Allworx Reach Help
How does the Allworx have access to internet? Does it have a public IP directly on its WAN interface or does it sit behind a firewall, using a private IP for its WAN IP? So I am having the opposite problem. We recently upgraded to a newer 48x box and it came with one Reach license. I have installed ...

Re: grandstream ATA HT-502
The issue I see most people make is they may create say 1 generic sip device and try to get one working at a time. Thats fine, but the issue I see is that people will have both ports open (or all 32 on the bigger models) and then configure only 1 or 2, but because the rest are turned on and set to t...

Re: Call Ques on software phone
Just configure it as a normal remote phone, setting the boot server to the public IP that points to the Allworx, and put in the plug and play key. As long as any generic sip devices on the system have good sip reg passes, and you are on a fairly late/good version, then attacks should not really be a...

Re: Call Ques on software phone
Allworx phones do not need static IP's to work. Most remote phone users we support here do not have static IP addresses on their remote phone. So as long as the PBX is off of a static IP then you should be fine.

Re: Multisite will not connect.
That is the issue. Both sites need to be on the same version (and should be on the same minor version, meaning don't have one on 8.2.3.9 and another on 8.2.10.6). Update both sites to the latest 8.2 or 8.3 and that should fix it.
