Outbound caller ID is setup in two places--at the trunk, and at the handset. If it's set on the handset, it takes precedence over the Trunk setting.
You'll want to go into the handset for x105 and set it to 215-xxx-1234.

Re: Config for Speaker Button
Not directly related, but you can also program one of the PFKs on the side of the phone as a dedicated headset button, so you no longer need to use Speakerphone to toggle.

Re: Failover or Redundancy options
We have 4 Allworx servers through the organization. Our SIP trunks going to each are setup in a Round Robin configuration--if SIP Trunk 1 goes down, the calls for that trunk are sent through Trunk 2 (and so on). Each server's failover partner is setup with all of the DIDs of the primary, and then th...

Generating or downloading an extension list?
Prior to our most recent upgrade, the Allworx Directory web page (http://ip.of.phone.system) didn't require a login. We linked to this page from our corporate Intranet as an employee extension directory. We have 4 48X servers, but because they are all multi-sited, any of the systems displayed all of...

Re: My first few thoughts
We've been live for a week now, and just brought 7 remote branches online last night. Figured I'd throw some of my desired enhancements out here and see what people thought. 1. If calling an internal extension, and that person is on another line, show something on the caller's phone to indicate it....

Multiple Handset Profiles
Anyone familiar with this feature? I've been trying to get info on it from our partner, but I'm just getting bounced around. We want to do some redundancy across sites (we've got 4 48X servers, spread out across the country), and this might help out, but I don't know anything about it yet.

I would love to see it as well. It'd be great if we had a little bit of a repository here for docs.

Re: Paging across WAN
Generic handsets in an Allworx have three pieces of information you'll need for the Algo: User ID (which goes into the Algo's "Extension" field, including the * at the front), Login ID (goes into the Algo Authentication ID field) and the password. As long as you've got those three pieces o...

Re: Generate an email when a phone is called
Here's the VB.net code (the compiled executable is in there as well). The part I've been struggling with is how to get the database structure to you--a lot of this relies on stored procedures in the database, as the application acts mainly as a proxy between the phone system and the DB. If anyone kn...

Allworx conference bridge and external phone numbers
When you setup a conference using the Allworx Conference Center (licensed feature, not standard), the completion page shows a message like this: Conference ID: 1234 Password: 1234 Enter the conference from an internal extension by dialing *408 up to 5 minutes before the conference starts on Tue Jun ...
