Re: Changing 48x Web Server Password

I'm pretty sure this is just the System Administrator under the Users section. Change the password for that account.

Re: No Auto Attendant

Setup an Extension and call it something like Incoming Call Routing. I have SIP Proxies setup, and then have the received calls go to this specific extension. Setup the Call Routing of that extension to ring whichever destinations you want. Can be a single phone, multiple phones at the same time, th...

Re: New Area Code

Take a look under the Dial Plan settings. Do you have anything in there for the Area Codes you can dial under External Dialing Rules?
On our system I've put in every area code that I want a user to be able to dial without a 1 in front.

Re: Phones going dead during a call - HELP!

Does this happen if calling another handset on the same Allworx server? (internal call)
Or only when using an outside line?

What is being used for the outside lines? Analog, PRI, SIP?

Re: Working Voip Providers

Yes, 5060 is good. Also tried 5080 which voip.ms accepts as well as per their tech support. My other SIP provider is working without any problems. The Premium vs Value routing settings on their end shouldn't matter, since that is the route voip.ms takes to the PSTN and shouldn't affect the Allworx t...

Re: Put Allworx 6X behind a firewall

Allworx also asks for 2088 UDP and 15000-15511 UDP as per the Network Configuration page.
If you have remote phones you'll also need 123 open for NTP so the remote sets have proper date/time. Not documented by Allworx anywhere...

Re: Working Voip Providers

I've had some problems with voip.ms staying connected. It registers for 60 minutes on my 48x but voip.ms drops the registration intermittently. My interconnect has other clients using voip.ms that have this problem as well. Enso - did you have to do anything special to get voip.ms working? When voip...

I've heard in the $130-$150 range but don't quote me on that, nothing official yet. Also heard that Generic SIP will be chargeable with 7.5...

Re: Polycom IP 4000 help!

I've got the 5000 working as well. No experience with the 4000.
Firmware up to date?
I recall coming across something in the documentation that made me glad I had a 5000 and not anything older, but I don't recall the specifics.
