Re: Remote Phone Registration Error
Marina-Your question doesn't appear to have anything to do with this thread, or the Allworx phone system?

Re: SonicWALL with Allworx?
@leetrans - We do not use remote phones or remote features. This is just about adding a 3rd party firewall in front of the Allworx phone system which would be in LAN mode, and would be sharing the same firewall as the rest of the computers on the network. The Allworx would then use this firewall to ...

SonicWALL with Allworx?
Hi All,
We are planning to get a new SonicWALL NSA 220.
We would like to use it as a 3rd party firewall with our Allworx 6x.
Any suggestions one what settings one needs on the SonicWALL so it plays nice with our Allworx?
Thanks!
Ryan

Re: Remote Phone Registration Error
Well if it works everywhere else, it's got to be comcast. The xfinity routers provided by comcast nowadays do have a firewall built-in. Perhaps theer is some weird NATing going on for the communication outbound to your Allworx PBX. I would assume the registration happens over SIP port 5060, or whate...

Re: Multi-site audio problems
I don't see how you would not have a firewall in front of your remote phone in the UK. How is your phone getting out to the internet? Unless you have a static VPN between your two networks, and by remote you just mean the phone isn't located in the same location as the phone system? Remote phones ar...

Re: Router recommendations?
Thanks @ATGroup.
Anyone else have success with routers?
In particular I'm wondering if anyone has had success with Sonicwalls. If so what settings do you have to configure to allow the Allworx to work smoothly?

Re: Dropped calls and REGISTRATION ERROR
I believe each of the phones attempts to register during intervals throughout the day. If it can't reach the allworx pbx, this would result in a registration error. You definitely need to analyze this from a network perspective. Perhaps a firmware update or change was made to the switches that makes...

Re: Increase Users 31-60 on Allworx 6x
The re-seller can also get the system MAC address and supply that to Allworx as part of the purchase. Then you can click the "Install from internet button" on the feature keys page and it will automatically add new feature keys to the Allworx unit associated with that MAC address.

Re: Router recommendations?
I got the same problem. We have a Juniper SSG 25. I could put my Allworx 6x behind it to make outgoing calls but incoming won't work. I heard disabling SIP ALG might help, not sure if you tried that. I would also be interested if anyone here has recommendations on routers/firewalls that play well w/...

Your opinion of Telepacific or XO?
Hi, Due to significant issues with our Comcast cable and our current SIP provider, both in quality of service and security, we are interested in switching to T1 with Telepacific or XO in combination with their SIP services for our Allworx 6x. These services use MPLS with a network IAD that will allo...
