We are taking a 6x out of service. What is the best way to purge the configuration/setup from the (1) phone system and (2) each of the handsets?
The goal is to clear everything to be able to send equipment to recycling or for use by other people if they happen to need them.

Allworx 6x end of life?
I was told by my vendor yesterday that support and software updates for the 6x will end at the end of the 2019. This is the first I have heard this; is this true?

We can make outbound calls fine, check voice mail and such just usually just fine. You have to have a really reliable internet connection to your Allworx box (we have a fiber line). Yeah, my experience has been that Allworx doesn't like to provide the contact information for their vendors so you can actually do business with them. They seem to want to force you to use whomever you purchased the system from originally.

I would also suggest getting connected with another reseller ASAP as well and establish a relationship with someone. I went through something similar and I had a heck of a time finding resellers who deeply knew the system. You don't want to wait until something bad happens to establish a connection.
