I would suggest replacing the CF card, make sure it is at least 25X read/write speed. Seems doing a backup every night is excessive, once a week would be fine, possible saved messages should be the only potential loss.

Sounds like the unit got interrupted while burning the new software to the phone, AKA " you bricked it". You can send it to Allworx to get it re-flashed, otherwise you have a parts phone.

There isn't one, just call from one extension to another and place on hold to listen. If you use the built-in recordings you really don't need to check it, it's there.

Try using a faster CF card, needs to be at least 25x , Amazon has 4 GB Sandisk cards that work fine, they are 25X . You can use a larger disk than the database/system is on, it will resize if you are restoring to is VS loading new system software.

Try to ping the IP of the Allworx unit, from a command prompt enter ping 10.100.2.254 /t then press enter. While that is pinging try to open the IP in your browser, http://10.100.2.254:8080.
