Polycom Soundstation IP 7000 breaks Allworx!
Today's fun: Got a Polycom Soundstation IP 7000 that was using a very old firmware version; we were using this with our Allworx 6x (software 8.4.5.4) and it was difficult to work with for various reasons. Cleared & factory reset the Polycom phone and it's now running SIP application 4.0.14.0987....

Re: Allworx 6x 8.4.2.7 and daily reboots of 9212L phones
Indeed, this is related to DHCP. The phones seem to reboot when the lease expires instead of asking to renew it. Solution is to set all of our phones to static IPs.
The previous version of the phone software didn't have this issue.
Anyone know why?

I will take a look at the DHCP idea, thanks!

Allworx 6x 8.4.2.7 and daily reboots of 9212L phones
Another crazy problem... Since we updated our 6x to 8.4.2.7 which updated the software on all of our phones, the 9212Ls seem to reboot themselves automatically every day at either 12:21 to 12:23 AM or 12:21 to 12:23 PM. This is a phone-initiated reboot and not a server-initiated reboot and there doe...

What do we lose by leaving the system on the USB key?

Re: Allworx 6x blew up with software update
Got it. We managed to track down a backup of 7.6.16.5 and restore that to CF, after which we switched over to USB again and it resized accordingly. There's plenty of room on it now! I saved the CF card with the live, working 7.6.16.5 just to be safe :D When everyone is off the phones, I will update ...

Allworx 6x blew up with software update
We have an Allworx 6x box that was running on some revision of v7 (probably 7.5.19.1). I made a backup of it with Officesafe (saved in a .dat file) and upgraded revision by revision, trying to get to 8.3.5.4. I made it to 8.2.13.6 and then tried to run the update, which started and then froze up in ...
