Does each client PC have to be able to communicate with the phone directly in order for Call Assistant to work? If so, that seems really dumb.
In my imagination, the way Call Assistant should work is:
Client PC <-> Allworx box <-> Client Telephone
Instead, it seems like it works like this:
Authorization: Client PC <-> Allworx box
Communication: Client PC <-> Client Telephone
*****
This is my configuration:
Allworx 6x with VLAN2 with DHCP Server enabled
Allworx Client Phones automatically join VLAN2 and get DHCP
Allworx 6x with VLAN1 and no DHCP
Client PCs on VLAN1 get DHCP from Windows AD server
Therefore, the Client PCs can communicate with the Allworx box on VLAN1, but they cannot directly communicate with the phones on VLAN2.
