Need help with my setup (vlans and subnetting)

Post by elementalwindx »

I have a setup similar like this:

Cable modem with 4 ports.

Allworx WAN side plugged into Cable modem Port 1
Allworx LAN side plugged into Cisco SG300 (192.168.91.1/24)

PFSense router WAN plugged into Cable modem Port 2
PFSense router LAN plugged into Cisco SG300 (192.168.90.254/24)

3 SG300's involved daisy chained together. All ports trunked except the Allworx LAN port. It's setup as General 1T, 2UP

Voice Lan is VLAN 2
Data/MGMT Lan is VLAN 1

I have a computer on the 90.0 subnet that needs to use the Call Assistant which I believe needs to be able to talk to 91.1, and it cannot.

How can I go about making this happen?

I imagine I probably should plug it in Cable modem -> WAN Allworx LAN -> WAN PFSense LAN -> Switch.

Let me know what you guys think. I am just trying to achieve as few single points of failure as possible. We have multiple public IPs so the Allworx has it's own dedicated IP.

Did you figure this out? If the router can talk on both VLANs then couldnt you just create a static route on the router?
