Okay, have an older Allworx setup on a 6x.
Been running a remote phone (9219) for most of the last 4-5 years (at least).
Suddenly, over the weekend, I'm getting "Registration Error" when I reboot my phone.
6x is in LAN Host Mode
LAN is DHCP in private (Class C 192.168.1.*/255.255.255.0)
Public IP is static (and verified).
ServiceName (External) (Internal) InternalIP
Allworx 2088 (2088-2088) (2088-2088) 192.168.1.1
Allworx 5060 (5060-5060) (5060- 5060) 192.168.1.1
Allworx 8081 (8081-8081) (8081-8081) 192.168.1.1
Allworx Voice Channels (15000-15511) (15000-15511) 192.168.1.1
My side is a DHCP LAN in private (Class C 192.168.2.*/255.255.255.0)
Non-static on my end as I'm not the "server".
My home router is a NetGear ProSafe 336G (First gen)
Goofy thing is my router seems to alternate in which setting (on/off) the SIP ALG stuff allows the phone to work.
At some points, it's been OFF. At some points, it's been ON. For the last few years, it's been OFF.
Have tried it both ways. Not working.
I've done a factory reset on my phone and reset all the settings.
It goes through, loads station init files and I get "Registration Error".
Have tried multiple Network cables (everything on both networks is CAT6 STP).
Have tried using multiple ports on my switch here at home.

Suddenly getting "Registration Error" on remote phone
Re: Suddenly getting "Registration Error" on remote phone
Okay, figured it out.
Another tech in our IT department spent Friday evening reconfiguring our fax server to use a SIP trunk and didn't isolate the ports.
So our phone system and the new fax setup were crapping all over one another.

FYI - its never good to have your office network ip schema be one of the default's 192.168.0.x 192.168.1.x 10.0.0.x etc. as it will cause you grief with home users trying to VPN etc.
