updates

I have an allworx appliance that connects directly to the local sip provider. The sip provider does not allow internet traversal over it's local mpls. In the allworx server, there is an option under home - maintenance - update to download updates from web. In this case, it appears i am not able to do this. How are people updating the allworx server under scenerios such as this?
