Feature Keys

Hello All,

I have an Allworx Connect 536 and it recently caught my attention that in my Feature Keys I have Total License count of 1 Interact Softphone license. While it says the Feature is Enabled on my device it also says the Key is not installed.

My questions are:
- Is this a test key that is included with the device upon purchase?
- How do I go about obtaining the Key?

Can you provide a screenshot? Interact Professional is not the softphone. Those are distinct licenses. The softphone is an optional component of Interact Professional that requires a softphone license.
IIRC, the servers do include 1 license out of the box.

Hi wshrader,

Please see the attached link for a screenshot. I'm unable to use the Out of the box license for the softphone. In the screenshot you can see the count is there for 1 license but unusable I also noticed the Key Installed column says "No".

Your screenshot shows that the 1 Softphone license is use. Click on the link "Allworx Interact Softphone" to see the user to which it is assigned. If necessary, provide a screenshot of that. The column indicating "Key Installed" is irrelevant if the column "Feature Enabled" is "Yes".

The user currently assigned is the user I would like to be able to use the license. Unfortunately, when I try to sign that user into an Interact Softphone installation I get an error message regarding the licensing.

Let's go back to the beginning. Exactly what is the error message? What isn't working and how? Screenshots help.
