Softphone to Softphone call issues

I hope this is an easy question. We are having issues with softphone to softphone calls. The issue being that when a SP calls another SP in the system the two users can't talk to each other, neither can hear the other. If call to or from a SP user from a desk phone is fine (all desk phones are in the same building as the 731).

The config is a single 731 with Ver. 9.1.10.17. SP users connect through a VPN (AnyConnect to Cisco 1120). Phone subnet is 172.28.10.x, local network is 192.168.67.x, and VPN clients are on
10.254.253.x. I have never posted here before, so not sure what all information I should provide.

Any help would be appreciated. We are getting ready to roll out a bunch of SPs and this is presenting a huge obstacle.
