regestration errors, temp lockups

Post by ronaround »

i have a 6x with 7.0.8.1 software and running only in its local network on a 192-168-25-254 two 3com 2 layer 24port poe switches between server with fiber backbone .3 credit card terms are connected thur and by selfs on this also. lately regesteration errors come up at different phones, cant answer when its ringing at ft. two extensions, audio on one side drops and system appears to freeze on phone side. server is still always connected with no drops. error log says either sip 200 called ended as with one sided call or dhcprequest 192.168.25.0 and ciaddr 192.168.25.64 unavaible . 25.0 is nothing and dont know where 25.64 is or what it was.and it all comes back in 10-15 minutes with out booting the server. this appears to be connection issue to me? occours 2 times a day then waits 3-8 days and then same occourances. allworx supports ays program is ok. we are putting out the DHCP on the allworx any thoughts would be appriciated

Update:

we brought in a Seperate IT guy we sometimes use and he ran a sniffer program and found that comming thru the LAN cable plugged into the poe swith above our Allworx, they had another network, a .1 broadcasting in our .25 network. we found 7 MAC addresses with quite a bit of traffic on it. this was only to allow us VPN access to the Allworx. once unplugged all .1 traffic dissapears. it is apparent that the IT admin. wasnt dilligent on his end and caused 3 weeks of pure hell on our end. as of present all of the above seems to have stopped, possibly due to DHCP leases expiring and getting the other .1 traffic? any thoughts or comments?
