New Area Code

We have a new area code in the Atlanta area and we are unable to place any calls to that area code at this time. We are currently using Cbeyond for SIP service. Can anyone tell me how to make the necessary changes to allow this area code to be dialed.

Do you type in 1 before the area code?

Take a look under the Dial Plan settings. Do you have anything in there for the Area Codes you can dial under External Dialing Rules?
On our system I've put in every area code that I want a user to be able to dial without a 1 in front.
