24x not recognizing new handsets?

Good day,

I'm trying to get some new handsets configured but for some reason new handsets aren't getting a configuration from the server. It looks like they're talking to the server since they all get a DHCP address. I enter the boot server IP into the devices and they get to Loading Config Files, then almost instantly it spits out Init/Load failed! They are plugged into known good Ethernet drops (tested with other phones which were previously configured and are working fine).

All the devices are either 9212 or 9212L. They can talk to the server since they get a good DHCP address in the phone system's unique scope.

It is only happening to phones that aren't in the server's handset database. Phones that were previously working fine that were just removed from the database to minimize clutter aren't being recognized, and neither are brand new handsets. Tried doing a reset to factory default settings, no results. Manually registering handsets doesn't work.
I've tried testing known good Ethernet ports on the various switches (other phones working on these ports) and copying every possible setting from phones that are working, no results.

Is there something going awry with the server? Perhaps it needs a firmware update? Is there an "associated devices limit" we've exceeded and the server isn't recognizing new phones? There are only about 80 phones and 130 extensions (148 licenses) so I know we're not out of IPs (also proven by the fact that it gets a lease from the server). I've already tried rebooting the phone server.

Allworx 24x version 7.1.11.1, client communication version 3.2.0.0

Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Are you using PoE switches or A/C adapters?

Wanted to reply to this old post because i had the same issue that took me a few hours to figure out something that was obvious. Hopefully it will help someone else too.

So if you're adding a new handset to your Allworx network and getting an error that says Init/Load Failed, this will probably solve the problem. You just need to make sure that the boot server in network settings on the handset is set to the IP address of the Allworx server. If another device is doing DHCP on your network, chances are the phone won't know where to look for the Allworx. Once the boot server change is made, my new handset updated without further issues.
