Replace 48X switch

Just curious on when to replace the 48X unit? In service since 2011. Current version: 8.2.15.5
Is it out of warranty? You can update it to v8.4 without a Feature Key. If it works, who knows when it will stop? The decision is to replace it now when YOU get to decide the downtime and it can be as little as 15 minutes or keep in service until IT decides to fail and then you won't know how long you'll be down.
Check for promotions. During March, they were including 4 year extended warranties for free.
