Hello,
I have an allworx 48x we have been having issues dialing out, every now and then we get a busy tone and "check number" whenever we dial out. This can only be remedied by rebooting the server but eventually the dial out goes down and requires another reboot. Any one have any suggestions on what could be causing this?

Hi, when this occurs, do you see any entries in System Events that indicates errors? Also, once you start getting busy tones, is it constant? So that every call made gets the busy tones / check number, or do some calls work and some dont? Also, do you use SIP, T1, or how do you connect to the phone company?

What version is it on? Most updates within a major version is big fixes, and if I recall there was a bug that had similar thing where it would intermittently do that. Now it did not require a reboot to fix, but in any case being on the latest version of the release you are on would be a start. So if you are on say 8.1.3.x and latest is 8.1.12.x then update to that.
