We're using a 6x as a network router but it isn't working that well in that capacity for ~20 users.
Is there a way to set a device besides the Allworx as the gateway automatically, without staticing each phone?

Go into Network Config and set a static route for the IP traffic you want going to a different gateway.

Another way is to use a different DHCP server that can hand its own address out as the default gateway.
The Allworx DHCP server only hands its own IP as the default gateway.

In the sonicwall you can put in dhcp option 66 to tell the phones where the boot server is also. The dhcp boot option caused problems so we ended up putting in boot server manually. So phones still=dhcp, boot server=manual.
