Hi folks,
We have Allworx VOIP system that we use in our company and people happen to misdial 911 when trying to make outside, long distance calls. I am looking for a solution to this, we have had cops visit us many times in the past for the misdials which I think is frustrating for both the parties.
I am wondering if it's possible to change 9 with 8 for outside line connection? or any other viable solution.

You change that in the Dial Plan.

Are you able to guide me on that? I am unable to edit that in Dial Plan.

Has there been a solution for this? I am having the same issue and need this resolved. I do see the Dial Plan and the Emergency CID but I am not sure how to completely remove the 9 prefix
